This is me, a physics student.

About me

I am interested in novel quantum many-body phenomena (e.g. anyons) and non-equilibrium processes (which might help understand quantum thermalization). I’m also interested in quantum computing.

Here is my CV, it is available in both Chinese and English.

Currently I am a Master student in the TUM / LMU joint program of Quantum Science and Technology. I obtained my bachelor's degree in Physics from Fudan University in Shanghai, China, and have spent one semester at UC Berkeley as visiting student and undergraduate researcher.

My homepage is: https://wentaoli.xyz, built with a great personal knowledge management app SilverBullet. This website is also my knowledge garden, and the cool thing is that you can literally git clone it to your machine and deploy it at your localhost very easily; for details see the README.

  • 🌱 I’m currently learning symbolica, a symbolic computation system.
  • 🤔 I’m looking for help with the "physics of neural networks", especially how Computer Science people approach this problem.

  • ⚡ Fun fact: my favourite shoe-gazing band is Yukiguni. Another one: I use Neovim but my favorite color theme is ef-cyprus from emacs.
